When your belly’s rumbling from all the Bollywood dancing, head towards our Spice Street Food Market for a gluttonous fix. Here we celebrate the Midlands, diverse multi-cultural community with a focus on the 15th century journey of the Spice.
Indulge in a selection of global street food from India, Indonesia, Morocco, Spain, Mexico, brought to you by Birmingham’s top street-food organisers Taste and Liquor! The idea is to celebrate the journey of our community and their land’s heritage of Spice. With menus celebrating the spice of ones chosen country, tuck into some Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, or Caribbean bites for a multi-cultural global feast.
Taste and Liquor are responsible for some of our favourite street food markets around Birmingham, we’re delighted as punch, as they’ll run a special spice-themed market at Digbeth Mela from 2.00pm to 9.00pm (last orders at 8.00pm).
This area will be free to attend, which means if you fancy coming down to smaple some delicious mouth watering street-food, head towards the Spice Street Food Market – Outside Arch, however please remember you’ll need a wrist band (a paid ticket) to gain access to all the day-to-evening shows in Music and Enteriainment 1.
